You’re debating on which model of the K-cup brewers to buy?! If you want to save money, Mr Coffee K-cup coffee maker can be a pretty good choice. Let’s have a look at the pros and cons and see if this $75 k-cup brewer is an ideal choice for your family.
If you’re searching for a budget – friendly k-cup brewer, Mr. Coffee brewer will definitely do the job. They retail for $75 and they are pretty popular for this reason.
The machine itself is quite good too – it’s small, simple to use and makes great coffee. It uses regular K-cups (coffee, tea) so you will have the same quality like when using Keurig coffee makers.
Of course, there are some differences between $75 and $150 K-cup brewers…
At this moment Mr. Coffee offers three different K-cup coffee maker models: KG1, KG2 and KG5
The most important thing to know: KG1 and KG2 have a single cup water reservoir and brew just one, 9 oz cup size! So, you will have to fill the water reservoir over and over again.
In my opinion, Mr Coffee KG5 would probably be a better choice. At least it has a 24 oz reservoir and two different cup sizes. Right now you can get this model for $79.00 + free shipping on Amazon.
If you need more cup sizes, then you might want to think about Keurig Mini ($99.99) model. This brewer has a choice of 3 cup sizes (6 oz, 8 oz and 10 oz) but be careful, this one has a single-use reservoir too.
However, if you want to get both, reasonable price and quality, I strongly recommend Keurig Elite.
It retails for $119.00 but comes with a 48 oz water reservoir, 3 cup sizes (6 oz, 8 oz and 10 oz), energy savings mode – Auto On/Off, and it’s amazingly quiet. We have Elite for about four years and I still love it.
I hope this helps a little bit. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to help. But, I am pretty sure you’ll make the right decision depending on what you like and need. Thank you so much for reading and contributing, as always!
